J&J Orthopedics sales drop 5.6% in Q2: 5 key notes

Johnson & Johnson’s orthopedics business reported $2.3 billion in sales for the second quarter.

1. Total sales for the orthopedics line were down 5.6 percent over the same period last year.

2. United States sales were up 2.1 percent, hitting $1.3 billion last quarter.
