HANOVER TOWNSHIP, Northampton County — The Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority said Wednesday a medical-device company that recently moved to Northampton County has been approved for a 10-year, $362,500 loan.
Tyber Medical will use the loan to develop a clean room and purchase equipment at its offices on South Commerce Way in Lehigh Valley Industrial Park IV in Hanover Township, Northampton County, said Jeff Tyber, company president and CEO. The project is expected to cost $725,000, according to the state. The loan comes with a 3.25 percent fixed interest rate.
Tyber Medical makes tiny implants for the spine, foot and other areas of the body, for sale to other medical device companies.
